StoCastic Tasks Channel with COVID-19 Public Relations Outreach

Agency helped client communicate news aiding in COVID-19 crisis

BALTIMORE, MD, April 9, 2020 — Channel Communications along with Pugh & Tiller Public Relations developed a national public relations effort to communicate that StoCastic’s E-Triage evidence-based tool is aiding hospitals during the COVID-19 health pandemic.

The StoCastic E-Triage tool uses artificial intelligence to help shift triage out of the hospital emergency room and into the community to get care to people in their homes. The tool identifies patients that are at high risk for hospitalization due to the Coronavirus enabling nurses to triage patients over the phone rather than in hospitals. OSF HealthCare based in Peoria, Illinois is using a new artificial intelligence-based tool during this outbreak.

“During these trying times, it is nice to be involved with an organization that is making a difference in people’s lives. StoCastic holds a key role in dealing with and ultimately defeating the Coronavirus.” said Rick Grant, Vice President of Channel Communications. Baltimore based StoCastic transforms the delivery of healthcare through ground-breaking solutions harnessing large-scale electronic health record data to provide care teams with real-time, predictive insight.
