The Somerset County Health Department (SCHD), located in the southernmost county in Maryland, was looking to continue to generate awareness of its opioid misuse campaign, titled Unmask Addiction, and the ongoing opioid epidemic.
This site was only a year old and had a solid creative foundation, so the Channel team recommended and made minor site updates and messaging changes and refined graphic presentations on the home landing page.
Channel planned and managed a three-month media campaign aimed at driving traffic to the Unmask Addiction site. Monthly social media calendars, behavioral display ads, Facebook pay-per-click, and Facebook video pay-per-click advertising were used. 30-second radio also ran on two Somerset County stations featuring the local sheriff promoting the Unmask Addition site and encouraging listeners to call 911 or 443-523-1790 for treatment and help under Maryland’s Good Samaritan Law.
