Channel Creates Campaign to Educate Underserved Populations of Covid-19 Vaccines
BALTIMORE, MD, July, 18 2025 — Howard County’s Health Department has launched an online, social and traditional media effort to educate underserved populations in the County about current Covid-19 vaccination programs.
“Protect What Matters”, created by Channel Communications is directed to African American and Latino populations to remind them of the importance of COVID-19 vaccinations. Channel developed television/online spots along with companion radio/streaming audio, online ads as well as various collateral pieces. The work is in both English and Spanish and will be delivered to the county footprint.
“COVID-19 is still alive and well.” said Rick Grant, Vice President at Channel Communications. “The current strains can be daunting. Vaccinating is the key to prevention. We hope the campaign will show why vaccines are so important.”
