Channel Communications Selected to Work with National Institute of Health (NIH)

Baltimore, MD, December 12, 2014—The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the largest research facility for drug abuse and addiction under NIH, has tasked Channel Communications with advertising for a smoking cessation research study. NIDA is currently recruiting healthy adults in three separate target groups to participate in one of three smoking research studies.

Cory Farrugia, president of Channel Communications, said, “We are honored to work with NIH to showcase our marketing talents but doing so for a great cause.”

In 1974, NIDA became established at the federal level as the knowledgeable source behind drug abuse and addiction research and treatment. NIDA understands questions about how drugs work in the brain and body and formulates conclusions about treatment and prevention.

With offices in Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC; Channel (www.channel-com.com) provides a full range of integrated marketing services, including branding, marketing communications, advertising, and broadcast and interactive media.
