Frederick County Health Department selects Channel to produce COVID-19 PSA Campaign

Agency produces meaningful effort letting people know that the health department can help

BALTIMORE, MD, July 2020 — Channel Communications was awarded a marketing initiative with the Frederick County Health Department to communicate the ill effects COVID-19 can pose in depression, trauma, alcohol and drug use, and suicide. The Channel team developed a multi-prong approach that included four thirty and four fifteen second television spots, companion radio, out of home, print, collateral, online advertising, social media along with an in-campaign companion landing page. The effort titled “A Way Forward Together” lets residents know that help is available to deal with issues caused by COVID-19.

“We are very excited to be working with the Frederick team. Depression, alcohol and drug use, trauma, and suicide have been on the increase during COVID-19. Frederick County has the expertise available to help people understand and address these issues.” said Rick Grant, Vice President of Channel Communications. “Frederick has an amazing staff to help people through this trying time.”
