Agency created targeted campaign communicating the benefits of getting the COVID-19 booster.
BALTIMORE, MD, August 2022 — Channel Communications has been awarded a marketing assignment by the Frederick County Health Department on behalf of the Frederick County Senior Services Division. The Channel team has been tasked with driving COVID-19 vaccinations among adults aged 60 and over.
Channel developed radio, out of home, online advertising and an event handout to educate the audience about the benefits of getting the shot and booster. By getting the vaccination, people are twenty-one times less likely to die from COVID-19 than the unvaccinated and seven times less likely to be hospitalized.
“We are honored to be part of this initiative. Getting your vaccination and booster could save your life. It’s really a no-brainer,” said Rick Grant, Vice President of Channel Communications.
