CC a Big Winner at MarCom Awards

Agency claims three awards for client work in diverse fields

Baltimore, MD January 8, 2016 — Cory Farrugia, president of Channel Communications, (CC) announced today that the firm earned three awards at the 2015 MarCom Awards, a major international competition for the marketing communications industry. CC received two Gold Awards; and one Honorable Mention for creative work in health care, event marketing and substance abuse categories.

“We share these awards with our clients,” said Farrugia. “These honors wouldn’t have been possible without our partners’ willingness to take risks and embrace bold messages and visual approaches. The awards are also a testament to the hard work and fresh thinking of our creative and account staff.”

CC received Gold Awards for its “Sprains to Stitches” TV spot for Patient First and for the “Take Back My Life” multi-channel campaign on opioid abuse for the Frederick County (MD) Health Department. And an Honorable Mention citation was awarded to recognize CC’s work for the Johns Hopkins Medicine “A Woman’s Journey” annual health conference.
