Middleburg Bank Turns to Agency for Online Banking Transition Support

Channel team brought on board to announce new online banking platform to customers

BALTIMORE, MD, November 24, 2015—Cory Farrugia, president of Channel Communications, announced that the firm has been working with Middleburg Bank to introduce a new and improved online banking platform to its customers. The new platform was rolled out on November 18th. Middleburg Bank was seeking a partner to develop a multi-channel communications campaign to highlight the system’s new features as well as guide online customers through a brief transition phase.

Farrugia said, “Middleburg Bank has always been proactive in addressing customer concerns well ahead of any potential issues that might impact its operations. This campaign and system enhancement is further reflection of its commitment to its customers.”

The Channel team has developed a campaign that included a postcard, direct mail package, an email series, a transition reference guide, a landing page, statement stuffers, and banner ads. Messaging notified Middleburg Bank’s online consumer and business customers of the upgrade, highlighted new features, and reminded customers of necessary steps they needed to take before the new system was in place.
